9.8.2010, monday we went to tasik aman damai to look for bamboo to build the base of the craft.. why is so hard to pull this bamboo...

geodesic dome

28.7.2010, we are given an assignment to build our own production
of a model of a geodesic dome using bamboo satay sticks.
thing that i bought before doing a geodesic dome:


1. bamboo satay stick
2. glue ( 3 seconds, uhu, stick glue)
3. knife
4. papers





the first thg tht i do is i open a geodesic dome calculator so that i knw the length that i must cut according to the radius. i did 15cm radius which mean 30cm diameter. i did a 2v structure.
it hav 2 part A n B.


part A: 8.2cm
part B: 9.3cm
part A consist of 30 sticks
part B consist of 37 sticks10 satay sticks for a base. so i do a triangle shape 1st b4 i done the rest of the geodesic dome part.




after that i started to connected the stick 2gether until it has the shape.
